‘गुफ्तगू’ के ज़रिये हम राज्य सभा टीवी पर एक ऐसा आस्वाद प्रस्तुत करने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं जिसमें किसी भी प्रकार की नाटकीयता और अतिशयता से अलग एक हार्दिक संवाद आपको मिल सके. इसमें हम उन सभी महत्वपूर्ण लोगों से बातें करते हैं जिनसे या तो हमारा समय और समाज प्रभावित हुआ है, हो रहा है या फिर ऐसा होने की संभावना दिखाई देती है. हमारे इस प्रयास को आप की तरफ से अब तक जैसा समर्थन, सहयोग और मार्गदर्शन मिला है उससे ऐसा लगता है कि टीवी चैनेल अपने दर्शकों की इच्छाओं की अनदेखी करते हैं. इस मामले में राज्य सभा टीवी की दूरदर्शिता और अपनी धरोहर के प्रति सम्मान की भावना ने गुफ्तगू को एक ऐसा गुलदस्ता बनाया है जिसकी खुशबू से मेरा खुद का मन आश्वस्त रहता है. मेरे पास हर रोज़ आने वाली मेल्स, फोन कॉल्स और विभिन्न माध्यमों से पहुंचने वाली सद्भावनाएं, मुझे और गुफ्तगू टीम को नयी ज़िम्मेदारियों से लैस करती हैं. मैं अपने डायस्पोरा के दर्शकों का भी ख़ास तौर पर शुक्रिया अदा करता हूं कि वे गुफ्तगू की उपादेयता के बारे में सक्रियता से हमें मेल लिखते हैं.

Meet Naresh Banerji
Naresh Banerjee, also known as Bratachari Nareshji has been a demonstrator of the folk dances ( Raibenshe, Dhali, kathi, jhumur etc). He gained popularity by teaching the “Raibenshe” dance, one of the major folk martial dances of Bengal. He started his career as the gallery assistant of the Gurusaday museum, a platform dedicated to showcase folk art and craft of Bengal, founded by Gurusaday Dutt ICS who was also the founder of the Bratachari movement in Bengal . Nareshji’s love for folk art inspired thousands across the border, as a result he conducted his workshops not only in the Bengal Bratachari Society but also in institutions, universities and governments in Bengal & Bangladesh. He is the honourable secretary of “education & cultural heritage” of Bengal bratachari society. He is currently working for the M.A department of folk dance of Bengal as a Guest Teacher of folk dance (Raibenshe, Dhali) at Viswa Bharati University. He acts as an advisor for the COLLEGE STREET PROJECT SIXTEEN, a cultural & welfare organization in Kolkata, West bengal. Due to his long lasting contribution, the government of India awarded him with the title of “GURU OF RAIBENSHE DANCE” under the ‘Guru shishya parampara’ scheme in 2003-2005. The purpose of this scheme was to fortify and stimulate the regional folk dances of India. He was invited as a lecturer to deliver a commemorative speech on ‘Kobi Abdul Gaffar Dutta Chaudhari Sarok boktrita 2008’ in 2009 for Sahajlal Science & technology, Sylhet Bangladesh. He was also part of the folk dances’ team of India in Russia in 1987
